Engine Miss

I have an 04 Ford V10 with 40,000mi in an Rv,on a pull speeding up i can feel a miss,if I floor it it does'nt miss, crusing no miss, any ideas ?

Very common for coil packs to fail on Fords. Have them checked.

40k is not alot of miles but 16 years plays a toll as mentioned coil packs, boots...
If possible get a good scan tool on it and try to reproduce the miss either by revving or doing a brake load while parked.. watch data streams and cylinder fire...

a good mechanic should be able to do this...

i'm going with coil packs because i had 2 go down , replaced them all plus new boots, not a miss in two years now , knock on wood !!!

I just replaced all my coils mine were 20 years old , can tell a difference in acceleration for the better got from rock auto 100 for 10
