exhaust manifold bolts....missing??

While in the wheel well looking at my Damon Intruder's V10 (00/01 build), I noticed something odd....the first (top) bolt on the exhaust manifold appeared to be missing on one side. I though "hmm, that's odd". I went over to the other side, and saw the same thing. What's up with that??

It doesn't have any exhaust leaks (knock on wood). I'm not quite sure how it could not leak if there is a stud missing on each side.

Likely bolts that have broken due to manifold expansion and have fallen out. Stick something in the holes and see if you hit the bolt. I have one in my 460 that is broken just below the surface of the head.

Dang, I thought it was only the 460s that liked to spit out manifold bolts.

Bryan has a good idea. Try to see if the bolt is broken off or altogether missing.

Might be time to think about headers and exhaust.

Well that sucks. I guess as long as it doesn't leak....it can stay like that :P. It has a performance already, but I'll keep headers in mind for the future.
