i went with koni shocks and didn't notice any improvement over the stock bilsteins. i feel it was a waste of money and time. now i have a front and rear set of bilsteins with less than 1000mi on them setting around in the garage, if anybody is interested in them i would make them a great deal..the biggest help is weighing your couch and adjusting tire pressure..i went from 85lb of pressure to 72lbs and now we have a nice ride..good luck

You might want to reinstall the Bilsteins and if the ride is still nice, put the Koni's up for sale and I'm reasonably sure they will sell rather quickly and you can recoup some if not all of your money spent on the Koni's.

We have the Koni's on our coach and run 80psi which gives us a great ride.

Best of Luck

I had blisteans then went to koni fsd. It made a huge difference and ade it much quiter. BUT, I had the front tires out of balance and had a bod shimmy. It would jare your teeth at 40 mph. I had the balanced, but it didn't help. finally I rotated the tires. It made everything worse. so then, i had the equal removed, then balanced again. and finally got my front wheel to stop bouncing. It first, I thought I was going to live up to my user name. sucker. I am happy now, but I love the koni fsd. I can talk with out shouting.

I spent my money on Aluminum wheels, and air bag suspension front and rear. I got great results. Rides nice. I still want to try the shocks, and replace the heavy TV up front with a lighter LCD. That's the story I tell the manager in the finance department (wife).

gents i tried all i could afford to get a softer ride.bilstein are standard on my coach.so i figured they stayed there.installed air springs all corners' 78psi air in tires .10psi front suspension 55 rear. now i like the ride better,.Also One thing to do is to carry the heavier stuff in the front storage compartment. The springs are too stiff up front for the weight of the coach alone.as it gets older the ride improves because the leafs get weaker thus the smoother the ride.yvon

I have 1997 Holiday Rambler Vacationer 32'. I just got back from a 3000 mile trip and experienced a lot of buffeting and crosswind sway.
I decided to put Koni's on the front and Bilsteins on the rear. Will let you know if there is any improvement.
