F53 Warranty problems

I have a 2013 Winnebago Vista 35f with a noisy ring and pinion and a transmission that leaks. The local Ford dealer stopped working on motorhomes in January. I called the Ford Motorhome hot line and they has a Customer Service rep Carl call me. He tried to have a local repair shop make repairs and bill the Group One Ford dealer. The Ford dealer refused to do this because they have several like claims with Ford and have not been paid. Carl said my only option is to drive over 300 miles to Oklahoma City for repairs. This is not acceptable. Anyone have any ideas how to resolve this. My coach has 13000 miles and is three years old. The warranty is 5ys or 60000 mi.

I'd suggest talking with Carl's boss to get Ford to allow your repair shop to submit the repair claim directly to Ford, and bypass the dealer. Assuming the repair shop would go along with that. A 600+ mile trip for a warranty issue is a little absurd.

We had a similar issue with our 1999 back in 2000. While heading to ME we began to hear the ring and pinion noise. I took it to a truck shop in Bangor, ME and they said yes it was not good. Yes it is covered. Drive it back to AR and have it fixed locally. We had it fixed in Tulsa, OK.

So that's what we did. I don't have that MH and can't remember who did the work. We bought the MH from Dave's RV in Claremore so maybe they could recommend a dealer in the Tulsa area. You may be on the west side of Oak City so Tulsa may not be any closer. Fort Smith AR also has some big truck repair facilities.
