I have a 1997 National RV Dolphin, on a Ford chassis (V8 Engine). The brake master cylinder is located on the drivers side high up & with only 1" clearance at the top. How do I fill this cylinder??

I fashioned a piece of rubber tubing to the end of a turkey baster. Works pretty good but is slow.

You did not specify as to why you would need to add brake fluid. (ie: leakage/bleeding brakes/flushing system). There is pressure systems available to add fluid to the master cylinder.

The baster method worked fine for me and also I have a couple of popcycle sticks with proper level marked and can dip them in to check level without mirror. Did all of this while changing fluid.

Turkey baster here as well worked fine

I use a hand operated squeeze ball siphon hose. Works great.

I was checking the fluids on my 03 HR Vacationer V10. My master brake fluid container is in the same place. I was never really sure what the fluid depth was, until the day before yesterday I put a small flashlight behind it accidentally. I could see that the fluid is about 1" from the top. I talked to a mechanic and he told me that it is a pressure system and that 1" is not a problem at all. Thanks for the timely suggestions for filling it if I need to. Merry Christmas

Because I flush my system every year I went down to Harbor Freight and bought a hand pump garden sprayer. I had a left over pressure gauge that I put on the bottle just to see how much pressure builds up in the the sprayer. I also modified the nozzle to accept a piece of plastic tubing. Now all I do is fill the sprayer with fluid, pump and pull the trigger.

I added the cap and hose for a test to see if I could pressure bleed the system. Needless to say it didn't work as planned. So I started working on the Speed Bleeder project.
