The helm sight I gave you had all the factory manuals PCED, both chassis volumes, Electrical book, predelivery, should be everything in one cd that does not expire like the ones we get at the shop for the $170. Sounds pricy but not bad compared to what some others are giving prices on.

Hey DavidJeff,
You still around? I need a Ford Tech's input. Having issues with getting running lights working on a 2015 (2014 chassis) Coachmen Mirada with Chevy Tahoe lights LOL...

Yes, I am. Being a Ford tech I’m not sure how much help I can be. Still am a Ford tech pushing for retirement

Doing the retirement thing now...
Not bad so far....
Trying to figure out the actual f53 headlight wiring circuit. The "bright" folks at Coachmen have the low beams functioning as driving (running) lights and not the built in driving lights. I'm an electrical engineer and just trying to figure out that circuit so I can make the necessary changes in wiring to make them function correctly as designed.... It may be that the low beams are supposed to work that way, but I can only find out from a ford schematic not a harness wiring diagram.

Yes, the chassis was wired that way from the factory.
Here are the diagrams for your chassis. You should be able to take it from here.

Hello Davidjeff..David Jeff... do you have the schematic for the driving light on 2011 F53...the passenger DL is dimmer than the Drivers light. I think the Driver DL is good..so the problem is eith the passenger side...
Cleaned all connections and replaced the build. Could the resistor be bad?
Actually I would like to eliminate this feature and just drive by turning on my regular light...thanks..

The 2011 F53 chassis headlight and DRL circuits are the same as what I posted for the 2014.

Thank you VERY much. I saw some of these but was not sure which ones were for my chassis. That's exactly what I needed.

Worth noting that DRL (Daytime Running Lights) became optional on the F53 chassis in 2007. Canadian models got them, US did not.
That system used the low beams as DRLs, at a reduced voltage via a resistor, as above.
If an F53 has auxiliary fog or driving lights, they were wired by the RV manufacturer, not Ford.
The DRL change was noted in Bulletin Q-137R1 from Ford.
It's mentioned in this post
