I agree with the above comment!
The Saf-T-Plus being completely enclosed is provided more protection, & should allow it to function properly for a long time with minimal issues!
I have seen pictures where some others with external springs, have had the spring break.
Whatever one installs, a "steering stabilizer" certainly helps the drivability of any coach!
