It's a Ford E-450 chassis. It's weird, I looked all through the Ford E-450 manual that came with the RV, and finally gave up and decided that switch probably wasn't causing the fuel pump module error code anyway. This morning, I went back to the manual to get some other info to try and get a local mechanic to come and take a look at it (last ditch effort before cancelling tomorrow's camping trip), and the Fuel Cutoff Switch Warning was staring me in the face! It listed 2 possible locations
1) Above the brake pedal
2) To the right of the passenger's foot (hidden behind a plastic panel)
It was #2; one of the few plastic panels I hadn't removed, because no forums or You Tube videos I came across suggested anything near there (everything was either glove box, driver side or engine compartment)
Anyway, I pressed the button, the engine fired up immediately, and the code cleared. Problem solved and I get to go camping!
The part I still don't understand is how moving the motorhome 10 feet closer to the house a couple months ago tripped the switch in the first place! I moved it further away to open the slideouts and awning for cleaning and repair, then moved it back. Not aware of any bumps or sudden stops . . .
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read and comment.
