The ABS light is on mine also. Doing a search, the ABS module for it is NLA, nor can I find anyone to rebuild it. Will be faced with finding a used one, if in fact it is bad.
I disconnected each sensor at the wheels last week and tested the sensor themselves. Each one passed when tested by a DVM. Tried to remove the 2 rears to check for debris, but they are stuck and will require some PB Blaster soaking. A regular cheap scanner will not show the ABS faults. I am hoping its a simple dirty sensor.

Well shucks....I searched the question / answer file on the Amazon. In the group at number 10 I found this answer. Bad news for me if correct.

Quote: Will this read engine and abs codes from a 2008 Ford V10 in a motorhome?
Answer:Thank you for your question. No, the 3020RS code reader will not read and clear check engine and ABS codes for a 2008 Ford V10 in a motorhome.

I used obdlink mx+ obd2 bluetooth scanner with forscan lite to read the abs code on my 1999 ford F53 v10.

I don't have that item, but I have Innova scanner, but haven't tried it on my RV.
I have an innova 3150 scanner, and it reads engine codes just fine, it didn't find any ABS codes, but acted like it didn't have an issue looking

I still think going to AutoZone and borrowing their scanner is the best course of action. Purchasing an expensive (and they're the only ones that read ABS) scanner is only necessary if you intend to get some use out of it. It doesn't sound like the OP will.

You do have to pay AutoZone for their loaner scanner but they refund your money when you return it. Just make sure you borrow a scanner that will read ABS. And it does just plug into the regular OBD connector.

Modern scanners that read abs codes are no longer expensive, unless $50 is expensive

Can you provide a link to a $50 scanner that reads ABS codes? Thanks

I've been looking for a low cost ABS scanner and can't seem to find one.

The Innova 3150 is $140 on Amazon. I thought you said I could get one for $50. That's the one I'm looking for, the $50 one that reads ABS codes that you talked about. Maybe I misread your post #22.

This is your answer for a sccanner. The software is free, or $50 if you buy the "pro" version and the dongle to attach to the ODB port is another $50 or so. Get the dongle they recommend on the site. This software is able to do everything the dealer can do. Get the version that runs on a laptop, it's got more features that the ones for your phone.

As far as your brakes themselves go, I would not start by replacing ABS stuff. The fact that your brakes were hot tells me that something else is going on, probably frozen calipers or sticking brake pads. To the best of my knowledge ABS won't cause brakes to bind, in fact they do just the opposite, the generally release brakes when they lock up. I would start with looking for frozen calipers, brake pads that are not sliding etc. Good luck.

Here's a link for the software: https://forscan.org/
