It means a lot when you spend a LARGE chunk of money and are trying to enjoy Limited Family time together. Instead your NEW MH spends months just sitting in a shop.
Link to high failure rate? I couldn't find it.
The sparkplug wire thing has been rectified.

Over 2 yrs and 20k miles misfire

I originally posted about this on this forum long ago. Now after over 2 years and 20,000 miles I have another cylinder 3 misfire. Back to the dealership once again. My 2020 F53 with the 7.3 has been in the ford shop more times than I can count for over 50 days. Im at my wits end with this engine. I donít even know what to request the dealer do anymore. It seems like any trip I take when itís very hot it burns the wire on cylinder 3.

You could ask them to add the air deflector from the mid-'21 revision. This directs air from the radiator fan directly at the passenger side header. See this post: https://www.irv2.com/forums/f23/ford...ml#post6190815
