Could be the weight of the vehicle and "stuff" inside...that raises the question.....Do we really need to take this?

Also a good wind at your back also helps

When clicking on the "Click here" link, there is nothing to follow regarding joining the group. How do I view the forum?

My 99 V10 has the Banks package. It is somewhat difficult to remove and replace the air filter. I loosen all the hose clamps and raise the top half of the filter housing.

It is pretty tough to get it back together. Must be perfectly lined up to get it to fit back together.

"New" RV owners

Wife and I recently purchased and just had our first "shakedown cruise" in our 2007 Coachmen Mirada 330SL with the Triton V10. Also our first motor-home. I am a do-it-yourselfer and this forum looks like it has a wealth of info. I am interested in maintenance, modifications and upgrades.

Thanks....it's so frustrating for Ford to make something normally so simple to be so difficult.......

You all with brand new rigs must be nice. Got a 460 with a new holley 650. Not fancy but paid for. 😆

Hey Clifftall, joined group last week!
Looking forward to hear about anything related to the 2015 IFS E-350 chassis with a v10 for future upgrades and maintenance.

Air Filter Lid

I have the v-10 in my 2010 Baystar. How does the lid raise up to change the air filter...having a tough time. Even after undoing the clips still won't raise up.
