New forum for new F-53 V-8 Chassis?
Since all new F-53 chassis will have the Ford V-8 engine, should there be a new forum or sub-forum created specifically dedicated for that setup?
Thanks

No. It's still a Ford & as such can be discussed in this forum. This is for ALL Ford chassis, no matter what the version.

Actually Ford upgraded the sway bars on the F53 that has the 7.3 on it. I can see how it will be confusing the more questions get posted. CHF may not be needed (or possible from what I’ve read), and a lot of the advice about upgrading sway bars becomes a ‘What year is your chassis’ question. I get the OP’s point.

Actually what you question is nothing new. 1988-1997 F53 V8 460 with cylinder head, tune and dash changes in 1994. 1999 to 2020 F53 V10 with a multitude of HP changes, transmission changes and a few chassis changes. So "what year is your chassis" has been an on going event since 1988 for the F53. And of course there was Ford 460s used in the Oshkosh chassis with carb up to 1990 & EFI in 1991.

I agree Mr. Bones.
Godzilla powered rigs are different animals. We could use a sticky thread for the
current V-8 F53 instead of digging through stuff that no longer applies. I'm glad there is info available for everybody, but having it separate makes things easier to find.

I disagree. What will end up happening is the folks who have had the older F53 but recently bought a new coach end up leaving the forum sub. Those folks have very valuable information. If they only spend their time in the new sub forum, you end up loosing valuable knowledge.

I think you're better off having all Ford owners engaged in discussions in a single Forum. Why exclude all the experience of existing owners. There's still going to be a lot of common discussion topics. I doubt "confusion" will impede any meaningful dialog on posted topics.
