ok here's where we are at. our motorhome has a selonoid on the starter - is that what you are telling us to check the wires on or do we need to find a relay attached to a fire wall yet?

The starter relay is on the drivers side inside of the doghouse mounted to the side.

ok he found the starter relay inside the engine compartment. He says its very difficult to get at and he pulled as many wires as he could reach and they seem fine but couldn't reach all of them. next will be to check out the other fuse info you sent but he says it will have to wait until tomorrow - he is pooped! We both thank you for all your help today!! it is very kind of you. perhaps we will talk again later as he works on things. Thanks again!!

Hubby checked out the fuses etc that Subford suggested and in the process noticed a very distinct smell around the computer! Guess what - there are burnt spots in the board of the computer. So hubby is still looking on the internet for a new/rebuilt computer for it and it seems to be a very confusing process. That's all he's gotten done is looking. I am home for 3 days now so will help him find what he needs and get one ordered. I just hope that it too doesn't burn out when we put that one in. Any suggestions be we do would be appreciated. Sorry about leaving you "hang" but I work Monday thru Thursday but will try to do better about informing people.

There should some numbers on the computer plug part.
Can tell us what they are?
The F5TF Type number, but yours would be more like F6TF-12A650-???
and the DOE0 number.

I looked at that site and only the second one in the four items seems to be correct but the wording is not the same as the others. We are confused!!

The first one (A-1 CARDONE Part # 786387) has the right numbers but I do not see your numbers (#F6TZ12A650AJA) in the other two.
What wording are you talking about?

our part number doesn't have a Z in it. it has an F there. just talking about wording in the second item talking about male and female, pin terminals and all that. confusing. so you think the first one is the one we need then? that's kinda what I was thinking too after further studying it.
