Power gear leveler problems

Having problems with my power gear leveler, started at the switch on the
park brake i think.played around with that wire and got it to work, tried again
and nothing, could it be the relay acting up? or something more complex?

Yes, It could be either one of those..

Welcome to the forums. What motorhome do you have, year, model, etc (Place this info in your signature line - go to the USER CP to do this)

If they are Power Gear, What is the problem, They do not extend or retract,??

I have several of the Power Gear manuals on my web site. Look on the DOWNLOAD page:

1999 Southwind 35S – Southwind by Fleetwood

On mine, I must have the emergency brake on , and I usually have the engine running to supply additional power before operating the jacks.

When I press any of the "LOWER" buttons, I can hear the pump running.

I start by extending the nose first until the jacks just start to lift the MH.

I then lower the rear jacks and level with the rear left /right

yes power gear, won't turn on, but after cycling the wire at the foot brake i can hear the
relay clicking and then it works. Relay is hella 187152, hopefully its still available.

Add the info to the "Signature" line in your profile.

I'm not sure about the relay... But it sounds like you've narrowed it down to an issue related to the parking brake.

Got it fix! was a bad relay, other problem i came a cross, power steps stoped working,
corroded wires at front of coach in the fuse bock, cleaned it and so far so good, will be replacing the fuse block in the near future.
Thank you Waiter21 for the advice and for the download pages.
Cheers
