Can I pull the steering wheel and reposition it on a '97 F53?

I hear stories that pre 1999 F53's = NO

What's the truth?

On my 96, Bear Alignment loosened the steering box and moved it either right or left to center the wheel. Much easier than pulling the wheel.

to spread tube

Sure just read this TSB #98-21-20 that is attached.
Make sure you go all the way to Page #3.
