Has anyone installed a swith to override the temperature senson for the radiator fans? There are times when climbing hills where I see the transmission temperature startingto climb but not enough heat to start the fans s I would like to manually control the fans in these instances.
Thanks, Brian

Hi Brian, if you have electric fans on your radiator you probably could install a switch on your dash to control them.

Our 2000 coach with the Ford chassis only has a belt driven fan with no way to override the viscous fan clutch which has its own built in temp sensor.

I had an old 84 airstream with a remote tranny cooler and I installed a small electric fan on the cooler and controlled it with a switch on my dash.

Good luck, Jim
