I think the edging will help, but think I will put a little di-electric on it. Very little.

My tuner came in last week, got it installed, did surface street driving and I'm pretty sure I can notice a difference. I'm heading to Florida Friday so I'll see what kind of a difference it really makes. After reading all the Good reviews on the 5 Star, I'm sure I will be very happy with the improvements. I'm really forward to some warm, sunny weather.

Does anyone know the policy regarding getting a new tune when you buy a new rig? Thinking about upgrading to a new coach and don't want to spend another $399 on a new programmer when the one I have is fine but I need a new program for the new coach.

Gas Email Tunes - 5 Star Tuning Looks like a new tune without the hardware is about $105.

I got the 87 Octane Tow tune and if I'm not mistaking that is the only tune for the 2v 6.8 RV. Except for the custom tune.

I have the model that stores 3 tunes. I have 87 tow, 87 performance and 91 performance. I originally had 87 economy. Yeah, like I bought an RV to pinch pennies.

Added 5 Star -- Glad I Did
I added 5 Star last week -- 87 octane general tune for my 2009 F53 chassis. I was happily surprised at the immediate difference it made. The drive from the storage lot to my house has a section of highway with a 65 mph speed limit. Previously, without the tune, the engine sounded like it was working hard to go 55. With the tune, I was doing 65 before I realized it. The shift points are smoother too.
Happy camper here

When my engine broke a part off of piston #5, I used twice as much gas and had to fill up before getting home. I filled with 91 and switched to the 91 tune, and believe it or not, it did have more power. Rich... no. Comfortable... yes. Thanks Dad.
