I will have to double check my scan gauge but I have not found a trans temp reading. I think it gives the TFT voltage but not a an actual number on the temps.

Trans temp is available via X-Gauge feature for Ford V10's.
This was the primary reason I bought one.

Can you run the 5 star tuner and the scan gauge at the same time? Or do you have to get a splitter for the obd?

You only plug in Five Star Programmer to upload the new tune then remove it. Then plug in ScanGuage II.

Well, I got my 5 Star tune installed. I made a mis-step on the first attempt in download and installed the wrong tune. Mike stepped my through and the process. runs much better now that I have the right tune in. I now have the 87 Daily-Tow, and test drive went well. Much smoother shifts and only get a 300 RPM increase (from the torque converter lockup) when encountering small hills. The real test will be on our Wyoming trip next month. Great people at 5 Star with answers and help.

I don't remember all the functions, but you can use the 5 Star programmer to read and reset codes, and I think you can attach optional senders. Mine came with a free Dash Scan that can even read performance data like torque, 1/4 mile, 0-60 times and other data.

Mount is a tilt and rotate. I watch IAT, Water Temp, Blah and Blah, and can program it to monitor up to 8 sensors. I used one of the screws that mount the accessory thingie.
I think the 5 Star can be programmed to monitor up to 8 sensors also.

So far, I've been impressed with the 5 star tune, the biggest change is the throttle, much more responsive, I noticed it right away. I have some hill towing this weekend, looking forward to see how it works out. I got the 87 daily tow tune.

Pretty sure TFT stands for Transmission Fluid Temperature, and mine definately displays degrees Farenheit.
