I would call Mike at 5 Star tune. He may be able to tell you. Get the number off the side of your ECM and he may have a record of it. If it does have it and you don't have the tune computer, you cannot put the stock tune back on it for servicing. The little computer that comes from 5 Star downloads your stock program and uploads the performance program. Anyway to locate the previous owner if it has the performance tune? You should have the machine and stock tune for your rig IF it is changed.

I bought the 5-Star Tune a couple of weeks ago, but hadn't installed it until today. Sure was easy to do. We will be leaving IN for SW FL around 12/28. Can't wait to see what difference the tune makes for my MH. I'll report back right after the first of the year.
Happy New Year to all!

You should notice it in your driveway. The motor will accelerate quicker/crisper.

Spoke to Rebecca today and she needed the PCM Code (three letters and 1 Number) I could not find it under the hood or dash. my chassis is a 2013--do they have more than one unit for the V10 RV? Can anyone with a Winnebago tell me where to look.

PS they are $50.00 buck off

thanks in advance

I have a 2000 Adventurer and my code is on a black box on the left side of the steering column, halfway down. Hope this helps. My number is black letter on white sticker.

I could not find my code label, so Mike sent me a blank tuner with instructions to plug it in and use it to read out the codes he needs. I emailed them to him and he replied with the tune file which I downloaded and installed on the tuner using a USB cable.

You won't be the first or last one he has done that for.

You'll feel the difference just taking off from a stop.

We took the ol V10 on a 220 mile jaunt today. All interstate, 100 miles east, then 120 miles south. It only downshifted twice on 2 long grades. Toad and MH both full of gas, when we started, that is. Full fresh and propane, black and gray empty. Toad on trailer. Right at 25,000 gross weight. Crushing at 70 to 80 mph. Don't like to drive that fast, but late for dinner party. Never used cruse as it will downshift way more. You lose 3 mph and cruse just floors it. I never floor it all the way to keep it from downshifting. I may lose 10 mph on a grade with no downshifting. The day I drove this rig home, it was one sick dog. Now it runs like a scared rabbit. Temps in the fifties and forties. Runs better in cool air I think, semi trucks alway run better at night. Especially in the summer. Laying in bed now, watching Letterman as I post. I should get a 5 Star tune for my V10 pickup as they really do help. Seems like the motor is just getting broke in good. About 7,500 miles now. Put the tune in at 700 miles.
