Ordered mine on Monday after I just finished a 900 mile trek through Death Valley. 2 5,000' climbs convinved me that this will be a good thing.
Ordered the Tru Track bar as well.

I installed the 5 Star tune a third of the way on our recent trip (800 out of 2500 mi).
We had driven from San Clemente Ca to Moab Ut (towing my 2012 4dr Jeep) and experienced a lot of mountain climbs. The V10 screamed and the trans was downshifting 2 gears often.
Once at the campground I talked to Mike at 5 Star and he overnighted the tune I needed. It took 10 minutes to install. What a huge difference! I had 1700 mi to play with it on our way home to Harvard Il. That tune really sorts out the erratic shifting. No more 2 gear downshift and engine screaming. This tune keeps the engine in its torque range and you can feel it. I was able to discover the V10's happy range.
One more thing, I couldn't even think about using the cruise control before the tune. After installing the tune I had the cruise on almost all the way home.
Buy it......you won't regret it.

I've been meaning to do this for the last couple of years and have always just put it off. I'm putting my foot down on myself and will order it today or tomorrow. The MH is in winter storage still so I'll have to go get a PCM code off of it.

I am trying to choose a program and need help. I emailed 5star and they said the SCT X4 would be good for my rv (2000 Ford Coachmen Santara 34ft, pulling a 1989 Jeep Wrangler) They listed a RV Daily-Tow type map/tune, and a RV just with an 87 octane fuel tune. Could you guys give me some advise. There site said something about an RV only tune? I am a little confused. Thanks

You may want to check with 5Star but I do not think you have any decision to make. You can only get the RV only option for the motorhome. That is the one I installed for the V10 in my rig. I am quite happy with the results.

That's the way I understand it also.

13,000 miles on my 5 star tune now. It's been fine, but noticed the last trip out when it down shifts and gets in the 3100 to 3200 rpm range it feels like it surges. Not sure if it's caused by the tune or if something else is causing it. May remove the tune when we return home and see if the surge goes away.

I had a similar problem. I emailed Mike and he sent me a tune that took care of that.

yea mine did that also at 30k miles. I replaced the coils , as mike said right away that it was a bad coil and that didn't help, then replaced the plugs and it was great.
