Speedometer, odometer and cruise doesn't work

2000 ford f53 v10 Coachman Santara 36 mdb
Did take to Ford and code p0500 (speed sensor) came up. Ford claims the sensor is good and that the signal gets back to the computer. "No help", no fix! Also when I get to 70 mph on my gps, the engine starts jurking. If I stay below 70 engine runs fine.
Ford claims it's a coach problem. HELP!!!!!

Had same issue with 97 Saturn. There was a broken wire to the speed sensor on the flywheel. That stops all of those things.

Most that have had this issue with a 2000 F53 have replace the VSS (Differental Speed Sensor) on the top center of the rear end and it fixed the problem.

They test it by checking the ohms resistance. Should be between 190 and 250 ohms through it but if the magnet is hanging it will still test good.
