Stolen Catalytic Converter

2015 Bounder 35K, Ford F53 Chassis: A few weeks back I had the "joy" as a group of thieves broke thru the security fence at the RV storage lot and helped themselves to 12 or more catalytic converters. Presently being replaced but I would like to have some type of security anti-theft cage or some other type of anti theft ( at least to discourage-slow them down ) device installed. The Cat-Clamp may not work as the engine end of the catalytic converter bolts to a flange for the twin engine exhaust without enough room to install one of the collars for the Cat-Clamp. The "Catlock Catalytic Converter Security Lock 3.0" looks like it may work as it would clamp around the Cat Converter. There are two aircraft cables to run/snake around the frame that would hopefully prevent a "quick" theft with a sawzill. Any comments/ideas/solutions would be appreciated.

That really sucks! I hate thieves! Honestly, a battery powered grinder with a cutting wheel will defeat anything, including aircraft cable, very quickly. However, if it gives you piece of mind and you think it would work, and the company offers a money back guarantee type of thing that you would trust...then go for it. An audible proximity alarm of some sort might also be an idea. Good luck.

If the thieves have time, equipment and want what you have bad enough to risk jail time there's nothing you can do stop them. Electrocution doesn't seem to defer them from raiding power cable for the copper.

So sorry to read this. Thieves are scum of the earth. However, no matter what you do, as someone else mentioned, as long as there is opportunity, the thief will usually succeed. I would consider a more secure storage facility.
