I set the torque on my 1999 19.5 wheels to 175 ft. lbs. Ford did an update after a few years the manual said 150 ft. lbs. and I asked at the shop were I have it serviced its the local heavy truck shop and they service a good number of the RV's in the area

I have never heard that the rears (19.5") are any different than the fronts. I have been using 150 FT/LBS for the last 20,000 miles with no issues. I have had all six tires off at least 3 to 5 times for various reasons since we got the RV new in August of 2014.

I should have said for a 1999. Your 2016 is 150 lbs. He has a 2013. I don't know when the torque was upped, but I would go with the 150 lbs. 10 ft. lbs over would not hurt anything. The most important thing is the even torque.

ga traveler is spot on concerning even torque. Truth be known not all torque wrenches are that accurate. What is important is consistent and even torquing. Uneven torquing can and will warp a rotor.

The torque spec for the 19.5" wheels was changed in 2002. Our 2001 came with the 140 ft.lb. spec in the manual. About 6 months into ownership we got a certified letter from Ford raising the torque spec from 140 ft. lbs to 150 - 165 ft. lbs. The letter also upped the minimum tire pressure on the Goodyear G670's from 70 psi to 75 psi.

The same tires built in 2002 and beyond now have 75 psi as minimum pressure in the Goodyear load and inflation tables
