Recent upgrades on my just purchased 1999 f53 Newmar Dutch Star 34'V-10 29k miles
Items from Brazels
1) Ultrapower ecm specific chip
2) Ultrapower muffler
3) Banks ram air intake
4) Rear trac bar
5) Rear Firestone air bags
Not from Brazels
1) Banks trans command for 4r100
2) Banks 5" rolled stainless exhaust tip
Vehicle came with 4 recently replaced Bilstein shocks and front trac bar
First I installed a 5" Banks rolled stainless exhaust tip for the wow factor, Purchased from e-bay , over the top may be, but very impressive
Returned to shop and several boxes came in from Brazels, (Lightning fast shipping)
Did not expect until returning from next outing
Returned to exhaust shop and installed 3" Ultrapower stainless muffler, Great sound
Back at my shop I installed rear trac bar, rear air bags and due to belt noise on cold start up installed a new Goodyear Gatorback belt and changed oil with 5-30 Mobil 1 synthetic oil and a Motorcraft filter fl820-s
On first test drive back to Alpine RV for some minor promissed warranty repairs, vehicle with only the muffler replacement, power felt much improved, On a section of highway coming home from the dealer on the first trip home the coach had a serious handling concern "tail wagging the dog" that took almost 100' to stop the steering wheel and coach from rocking back and forth and with air bags and rear trac bar installed rocking was completely cured!!
I suspect 80% from rear trac bar alone
Next I installed Ultrapower chip and Banks trans command, again seat of the pants results but power and shift improvement are night and day
Last I installed Banks air box kit, and power improved and sound from intake is not to loud
(Note I could not wait for Brazels V-10 intake kit)
I just installed 6 new Goodyear 670rv tires and new gas filter and lubed wheel bearings with synthetic grease and lubed/cleaned sliders power flushed transmission and replaced fluid in parking brake unit
Will test all upgrades after trip next week to Pelican Point in Halfmoon Bay

Let us know how the trip goes. Looks like you have done some serious things to the rig. I plan on having the chip put in at the Natl rally in July so interested in seeing what you think of it after your next trip. Thanks for the info.

It is usually located inside the coach,on the drivers side of the steering column. The ECM will be covered by a black box, remove the cover & the number will be on a sticker.

If you mean in the WA area Mike, No.
Maybe somewhere at a Rally within reach of Virginia until November, then it's OFF to FL.

OK, Mike, how about this .... can I
buy the Air Intake and the muffler now to have
installed locally. Then we can plan to get the
programing done at a later date at a Rally
or such?
