V10 Pace Arrow leaking power steering fluid out of cap **!SOLVED!**

so i have a 2000 Fleetwood Pace Arrow (Ford F53 chassis) with V10 engine. i've been having the problem with power steering fluid gushing out from the cap on the reservoir as soon as i start the engine. I drained the fluid from the reservoir and looked inside to find an oil filter-like part leaning on the side of the reservoir. I could see where it was supposed to be attached so I spun it back onto the end and refilled the reservoir, fired up the engine and no leak!

To get the reservoir top off, unscrew the clamp connector that goes around the top section of the reservoir just below the cap. Take the clamp off the lift off the cover (I left the cap screwed in and held onto the cap to lift off that top part. This system shoots the fluid back in from the bottom up so if that filter device comes off/unscrewed then the fluid just shoots up into the cap causing it to leak.

I've read people having this problem taking their vehicles in and having pumps and reservoirs replaced. I hope my discovery helps people solve their problems very simply. Cheers!
