Vacuum Diagram Needed
I am trying to track down a possible vacuum leak and would like to get a diagram of the vacuum system for my engine if possible. This will make the process much easier. Thanks. Chuck

Google vacuum circuit for your Ford or Chevy engine. Do you still have the Bounder?

It would make the process on the other end of your request much easier if you explicitly and completely identified the chassis your RV is built on.
Can't look something up in the library without first knowing what to look for...

And you might look at the signature line on my post for the engine???? The vacuum lines are actually on the engine and not the chassis. Chuck

Cool your jets, man! We shouldn't have to research you. But we often times do for you and others. I did not notice your stats in bold the other day. Sorry!

The chassis includes the engine and the rest of the drive train, plus more...
Because RVs are often built on chassis that are not the same model year as the finished product, it's necessary to include explicit identification of the chassis in question when looking up technical details for chassis systems. The chassis VIN reveals all.

When asking for information such as this it is mandatory as much information be provided as possible. Even though you have a V-10 there can be several different vacuum diagrams available due to the chassis and vehicle weight classes for the various emission systems, equipment options etc. Not one size fits all.
No one wants to just throw something out there only to find they are providing incorrect information. It's called mutual respect.
Unfortunately asking a dealer probably wouldn't result in a reliable answer. Most dealers won't work on anything over ten years old. They have thrown all the old paper shop manuals away and rely entirely on a computer to retrieve any specifications or repair procedures.
At one time the library in my home town had a good selection of shop manuals but I don't know if it's common for other libraries.

Open hatch.. use cellphone with flash on and record all over top of radiator as far as you can reach.. also record over intake air tube.. there should be a sticker there.. hopefully that helps
Good luck and keep us posted

Now you have me curious. How many different versions or models of the V10 triton did they use on the 1999 Fleetwood Bounder 34J's? And how many different Chassis' did they use on the 1999 Fleetwood Bounder with the V10 engine? And I suspect that those with a similar coach as mine might just know exactly what I need and respond with the information I ask about. I am not asking for anyone to do any research for me. I am asking folks that know this coach that have owned one in the past or own one now if they have a diagram of the vacuum system. If you don't know what I am asking for you can't help me. Thanks. Chuck

Chuck-
While we're waiting, here is a post with a diagram in it.
iRV2 user "subford" is the man who'd know what you need. I'll continue to look for more of his posts that have vacuum system info.

Start the engine and take a propane torch, on but unlit, and move it over the vacuum lines. When the RPM increases you will have found your leak.
