What to do with Orginal Sway Bar??

Just wondering what I should do with an original sway bar I have laying around after I upgraded to a larger one. I hate to toss it in the metal bin at the recycle center but I don't know what else to do with it. I'm the type to repurpose stuff around the house and garden but stumped with this one.

F53 16k chassis if anyone wants one

I gave mine to a machinist I know and he made other things with the steel.

Put the old front and rear I took off my E-450 Outlaw 29H a few years ago on Craigslist. Took a couple months but I sold them both for $60.

Take them to a metal recycler. At least you’ll get weight value.

I saved mine and when we got our next new to us coach the dealer said the roadmaster sway bars had no additional trade in value. So i took the front off, put the original back on and used it on the new to us coach. The rear sway bar was different (18,000 to 22,000), front was the same.

Some time later i saw my trade in listed and one of the perks listed in his sale was Roadmaster sway bars.

Well I thought about doing the same but don’t have a place to do the work and our next RV is not going to be on the F53 chassis. We’re looking at smaller class C’s right now.

So with great ceremony I hefted it into the car and took it to the metal bin at the recycle center. Goodbye massive piece of hardened metal and Ford engineering!
