With Engine Off, Turn on Left Blinker turns on brake motor every time it blinks
2015 Thor Hurricane 34J. with 2014 F53. Sorry don't know what the actuation motor on the brakes are called.. But with key in off position, step on brake it lights up the left blinker on dash solid. If you turn the key to accessory and put on the left blinker or flashers it actuates the brake motor. it also blinks both the left and right blinkers. The right blinker works fine. It started doing it yesterday on the way t get RV inspected.. Then yesterday after getting it back home after awhile the problem went away.. Any ideas. Or have you run into this before.. Thanks

Activation of the ABS fluid pressure pump , with the key on and brake applied , is a normal part of it's pressure recovery cycle .
With the lights on the dash , no longer an issue ; the cause may be hard , if not impossible , to track down .
Intermittent electrical problems cost me most of my hair during 33 years at Chrysler .
Because your were ; apparently moving the signal and flasher switches , then the issue disappeared . The problem may be internal in the signal light switch .
But that's only a guess, until the problem resurfaces.

The most suspicious replaceable part would be the turn signal switch as that's where the turn signals and brake lights tend to cross up. On most older vehicles the brake lights and turn signals and brake lights are the exact same bulbs in the tail lights. So you can't have a turn signal and brake light one at the same time. If you are slowing and signaling you want to turn left then you will have only the right brake light as the left one will be blinking as a signal, right? That action traces back mostly to the switch itself.
I'd say the brake booster is tied into the brake light. When the turn signal shorts into the brake light system the booster can't tell the difference between that and you actuating the brake lights by pressing the pedal.
Now you could have possible issues with the "clockspring", bulbs and their sockets, flashers, and who knows what other wiring. Just saying investigating the turn signal switch would top the list of things to look at for me.

I would go where turn signals and brake light mix, the tail lights.
Look for a bad ground or bare wires touching each other.
Check the bulb too. Maybe the light was full of water.
Trailer socket is another place to look for corrosion.

This is not hard to rectify, key off stop on brake pedal abs pump will run due to loss of pressire( normal), ford brake lights are active with key off, so you step on the brake and cluster indicates turn signal on, possible bulb that has dual element that the filaments are touching inside the bulb back feeding the cluster, seen this issue many times, remove rear bulb and retest, then remove front bulb and retest.

As many of you expected it was the turn signal switch. But before that I gave myself a lesson on how to remove the rear tail lights. Haha. Seems like a easy job but. Thor really gunks in silicon in those screw holes.. What I was trying to see was if it was one of the LED tail light on left side causing the issue. Then I found out I didn't have to go through all that. I found the connector that disconnects the whole tail light electric assy. I also disconnected the the hitch light assy. The issue did't resolve.. I put everything back together. Saying it must be a relay or the multi function switch. I was going to leave it to Ford to fix it.. But just for giggles i shook the multi function switch like a mad man.. haha. Boom.. Everything started working and I can't get it to fail again.. Other nice thing. For years I have had the problem where my wipers would not do intermitting, they would do slow or fast, and then they would stop on their own time may be 10 minutes or 1/2 hour later not when you shut them off.. Ford dealer said they fixed it 2 years ago it by changing the control module and multi function switch, it did for a day.. Now it works all the time.. It just needed a good swift kick in the butt.. Something tells me I have some sort of short going on in steering column. Hmmmm do I leave it alone or do I fix it. I did order a new multifunction switch coming tomorrow. We will see...

Turns out it was definitely the switch. When taking off the switch before I disconnected the cables I wiggles them. It would make it fail.. But i also found out something when removing the switch. Back in 2021 I had the local ford truck dealer look at my wipers on why they would take 20 or so minutes to turn off. They replaced the switch and the control module. Well they billed me for a Motor craft switch 225.00. Well when I just took the switch out and looked at the part number they put in a aftermarket switch that sells for 39.00 on Amazon..grrrr. It deems to be fixed now. Moved the wires all around will wipers on didn't fail...
