'04 Knight lower radiator hose steel elbow

Hi folks I'm posting this for a good fried who just bought a '04 Monaco Knight. The steel elbow on the lower hose with the pet cock in it is rusting and started weeping. Dealer states it's no longer made. Anyone else run into this? Also found the radiator is starting to leak, can these be re-cored?
Thank you in advance
Matt

Is it still under Dealer warrantee??? If radiator fluid is rusty, then dealer did not do an inspection of vehicles engine or engine maintenance. Ask to see inspection maintenance report of RV prior to sale.
Your friend has the BBB, Chambers of Commerce, the internet and can also post signs and pass out flyers of the business practices of the Used RV Dealer. The guarantee of bad Press and Bad Public Relations motivates RV Salesmen and their employer. Don't forget about Small Claims Court.

You should be able to find a replacement hose even if you have to go to a Hose Shop for a custom one.
A good radiator repairman can rod, seal and repair the radiator if it is salvageable.
The radiator coolant system and heater core needs to be flushed, all hoses and water pump checked also.

Thanks DD, it was a private sale so no dealer to blame. Coolant is very clean looking so it has been changed at one time. Cummins says it's a Monaco part, Monaco says it's a Cummins part. When you say "hose shop", the only ones I am familiar with are for hydraulic hoses.

I assume it's a Cummins engine, if so contact them first. If they can't help you will probably have to make one. Get the dimensions and find a source for pre bent tubing and match up the sizes. The pet cock will have to be added if it is really needed.
I suggest using stainless steel so it doesn't rust out. You should be able to find one here: Burns Stainless LLC - 321 SS Tubing ~ 90 Degree Bends

I had new stainless tubes made for mine from a co in PA. I cant remember the name of the place but they are out there. A heavy truck repair shop gave me the name of the place and they did a good job.
I also had the radiator recored at the same time from a local truck radiator shop in Ohio.

Any good welding shop can fab that line I think its a 2" sch 10 or 20 pipe. Or you can call Scott Zimmer at Source Eng they may have one or can get one made up. A good truck Radiator shop should be able to handle the radiator repair or again Scott Zimmer.
