2002 40' RR8R 2 eyes

I have read much on this subject..... still unsure I want the comfort Bilstien's. Yes, they don't have an application, but I have read that there is an acceptable ap related to rr8s..... has anyone used the 24-187305 on the front lately? My understanding is that it is an acceptable replacement.

UPDATE: the 24-187305 is the right fit and by replacing all 4 front shocks...... After a 1600 mile trip, the ride is MUCH nicer! Definitely softer, easier on expansion joints and has a bit more "jounce" but not too soft. Actually seems to have less roll side to side. Just better all around. Rear shocks next.

Appreciate the follow up on this, sooner or later I'll be tackling the shocks.

What made you want to change, were they wore out or were you just looking for a better ride?

While doing underneath maintenance, I noticed that the forward most 2 were leaking severely; so I decided to replace all 4 in front, glad I did.

Any noticeable difference in cross winds?
Not too soft on REALLY rough roads (I always seem to find the worst in every state we visit)?
Anything you don't like about them?

Thanks!

Actually seems better in cross winds; don't feel that "pull" to the side when a semi passes me. About to hit the road on another trip and more evaluation.

I think that the Windsor down used Monroe shocks and the Dynasty up used Blistein but not the comfort shock and if I were changing shocks the comfort shock would be by preference.
