2007 Monaco Raised Rail a Roadmaster - Rear Bags

I have a small air leak on my rear bags and noticed they are cracking, I figured I would replace them now before they blow and I’m stuck. I’m mechanically inclined, but don’t want to put myself through hell. Has anyone tackled this?

I found some 12 ton jack stands locally and figured I would fill the bags drop the hydraulic jacks dump the air and support using the 12 ton jack stands for safety.

Does anyone have part numbers for bags for what I need? Does anyone have any videos or how to’s? Any tips/tools for making this easier or quicker?

More Coach Information Please

Hi and Welcome to IRV2.com
You will find a lot of information and assistance here.

For starters, it will help you to get assistance if you post the exact model for your motorhome. Most of us put the information in the "signature" area under the 'User CP' section (upper left of the website) and then selecting 'Edit Signature'. If you look at the bottom of most other postings, you will get some ideas of what could be included. At a minimum, the year, Model number, length, and engine in the rig are helpful. Without this information, it will be very difficult for others to help. Another benefit is that you will more than likely find some individuals who have the same/similar/'sister' rig to yours.

There are a lot of different models and a wide degree of variation within the different models that Monaco made for a given year, and knowing just a bit more about your needs will help you get the answers that you seek.

Again, welcome :-)

John

Air Bag Info

Hi -
I did a quick search for a similar air spring situation here on irv2.com.
I'm including a link to another user's posting which I believe has all the information you may need, including a lot of tips/suggestions.
I would recommend that you take a look at the air bags on your chassis just to be sure of the part numbers. There are several different brands and each may have different model numbers, but it is relatively easy to search on any of the numbers to cross reference to another brand.
I hope that this helps - and again - Welcome!
