Aluminum Wheels

I have some beautiful alum wheels that I believe are original to the coach. What have others used to keep them looking bright. I don’t think they have any clear on them from what I can tell. I know the rear iny’s will pool water if not covered.
Where can I get a build sheet for this coach, I’ve seen it presented somewhere on the forums?

Start by calling Monaco Coach Customer Service at 877-466-6226. See if you can get a copy of the original window sticker in addition to the build sheet. You'll want to have your coach serial number ready when you call. The Web site says you can also file a change of ownership "form," although I don't know what that does for us who have pre-bankruptcy coaches.

Rev Group (current owners of the Monaco brand) won't help us with technical questions, but last I checked they would help with part requests.

This link is still available but don't know if they respond.
https://www.monacocoach.com/technical-assistance

I used it years ago to get a PDF of my house and chassis wiring diagrams.

In the past I had emailed Monaco tech support with success and once during multiple emails the tech just gave me his number to call.

tmw188-

Three threads with materials and techniques mentioned:

Polishing Wheels
Polishing Aluminum Wheels
Cleaning aluminum wheels

Both "Dutch Star Don" and "FIRE UP" are particular about how they do things; start with their posts and go on from there. You may want to contact them if anything is unclear. Don used to own a Monaco Diplomat, by the way.

Motorhome magazine years ago did a nice comparison between brands and Zephyr was a high rated, easy to use product.

When Alcoa quit making their own brand, I switched to zephyr. I is more user friendly than some of the other name brands

It can now be found on Amazon.

X2 on Zephyr40 and a large Mothers polishing ball. Use sparingly and clean excess oopsies from your tires immediately. Best combo I've found. My 2000 Alcoas can outshine the new "coated" ones. 99% sure your 02s are not coated.

Anyone else have the Accuride wheels? They don’t appear to have clear on them.

Alum Wheels

Alum wheels are new to me, so what do you use on clear coated wheels?

Rub a small spot with mother's, if your white cloth is greyed they aren't coated.
