Different wheel lug sizes?
Yesterday I was trying to get lug nuts to replace missing on my 1995 Monaco Windsor with Roadmaster RR8S. This coach uses a lug nut to hold the wheel and another lug nut to hold the wheel simulators/hubcaps. Took a sample off rear duals and got replacements. So I could get replacements for the missing lug nuts and missing lug nut covers. When I got back to house I tried them on front steering wheels and they were too small? Then tried on duals and they fit. Guess what. My rear duals are M20 1.5 and front are M22 1.5. Both 30mm wrench size. Anyone heard of this before? Thanks

I wonder if someone had to replace hub and studs at some point. I had a wheel shear off of my previous fifth wheel ruining the studs. I had to be careful to make sure the replacement studs matched the ones on the other wheels.
That's the only thing I can think of.

Thanks RJ. I considered that. The front and rear lugs have the same patina so if that happened it was a long time ago. I wonder if any of these Roadmaster chassis' were ever produced with different size studs front and rear. It is telling that the wrench size of 30mm is the same front and rear. Very odd.

That's really strange. No Coach is built purposely with different size wheel studs. Some must have replaced them at some point.
What model rear axle does your Coach have?
I wonder if running wheels with 22M stud holes on a 20mm stud will be a problem (with the slop in the hole lettign the wheel move around on the stud).

If the rear wheel has same as front 22mm hole size then absolutely that is a problem. And yes there will be movement in the wheel, eventually catastrophic. I will know when I take it to the shop for brake work soon. Might be using coach for a quarantine for an international traveler that will be visiting Saturday Aug 29. To the shop after that.

Not sure about a 1995, but Monaco replaced some of the 1996-1997 Windsor front axles to improve handling and increase the weight limit. The wheel studs and brakes were different on the larger axle.
They were also in the process of upgrading the Windsor engine from the Cummins 5.9 to the 8.3.
The 1998 production Windsors all received the larger axle and an increase in trailer gross weight capability from 5,000 to 10,000 lbs.

I have a friend that has a 1996. Next time we meet up I will check with him to measure his lug nuts His coach has the 8.3 Cummins.
