Hyd hose on pressure side require replacement

when no load is on the hyds, it only very slowly drips, but if the jacks are down, its pretty quick. And at the fitting it appears to be bulging. I think its going from the high pressure side of the pump to the hyd drive for the fan. Anybody got a pn or an idea how long that thing is and where I can go about getting a replacement?

I normally remove the hose & take it to a hose store. They make another just like it and can also put the fittings on at the same angle as the originals. Any hydraulic shop or equipment repair shop can do it.

Yea, i really dont have a way to take it that far down. Can't really do it at the storage location. I will try the local dealership but they generally dont offer repair if not purchased there.

well, I have since found out that the extended warranty I will (soon) purchase will cover the hose. I just hadn't planned on flopping down the 4K$ for it quite yet...

Not sure if it will cover the drain, filter replacement and refill of the hyd reservoir. But I will cover that if need be.

If it were me, I would find a way to remove the bad hose, take it to any NAPA store and they can make you a new one........a lot cheaper than 4k

With a 13 yo coach, I figure there will be other repairs in the next 4yrs/48K that will pay for the extended warranty. As it stands this repair will likely be 200+ just for the hose. And as I can't work on it at the storage facility, in addition to the dirt around the top of the pump (where the hose attaches), I just as soon not risk it myself.

Got a great deal on the purchase, not really gonna sweat the small stuff about getting it in shape.

But, I'll go by and get an estimate on just the repair itself from the local dealer. If its over 700 (with labor 125 per hour and them likely needing at least 2, i imagine it could be), kind of sounds like the Ext warranty is the best option...

well, it doesnt look like its hyd fluid, its fuel and its coming from the inlet fitting for the fuel pump. Looks like when the jacks are down, the hyd line is under pressure and since its tie wrapped to the fuel line, it causes it to be pulled just enough to make it leak. It only might need tightening..
