I really appreciate all your effort and collection of details. I was wondering if the Holiday Rambler Scepter that the tags say built 2001 would still have the RR8S-Series chassis ?

I don't know for sure about the 2001 model year, but the 2002+ were built on the RR8S chassis.

Mike, I'm looking at a 2006 Patriot Thunder as well as some other Monaco S-Series coaches. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the effort you went through to gather and post all of this information. Just wanted to note on page 10 in your guide the M-Series is listed as used from 2003-2006 and I believe from the rest of the info posted this was really 2003 to 2005. The unit I'm looking at has a VIN number that indicates it is a S-Series.

Thanks for the feedback.
My research shows that the Roadmaster M-series (which is actually the SMC Magnum chassis) was still being used for the Monterey and Contessa until Monaco moved them to the Roadmaster chassis for 2007.

I didn't think about that. I guess it gets a little confusing because they switched only the Patriot and Marquis in 2006 and the rest in 2007? Might want to note that in the 2003 to 2006 M section.
I almost threw the 2006 Patriot out of consideration because I thought it had the M chassis and I only want the S.
Thanks again

Well, I bought a 2004 Safari Panther which is on a Roadmaster S chassis. I thought I ought to mention that the listing of known issues in the guide discusses vertical tube cracking / breaking on the RR10 chassis. Shouldn't that be the S chassis? Seems like all of the threads discussing problems were with owners of S chassis. Did the RR10 have the same problems?
