I retired at 50 and had no plans to find another job. Just travel, But then at a campground a feller walked up to me and told me he had a coach exactly like mine, so we started to talk, Well, one thing lead to another and when he found out I was a retired engineer, he said "would you like a part time job?" I said no thanks. He then said "what if I made it worth your while".

Next think I knew I was working at a natural disaster site for a company who was contracted to supply engineers for FEMA. I spent 10 years being sent all over this country for months at a time.

When I hit 62, I took early Social Security. My theory was I wanted the money while I was young enough to enjoy it. And we did. No regrets here.
