Retired Law Enforcement Officers
Any retired LEO's out there? I retired from FL Fish and Wildlife 4 years ago. DW is still working so we can only travel when she gets a few days off. Any location suggestions where we can get away and just relax? I would like to start a thread/club for LEO's so we can get together to fellowship. Anyone interested?

well i see u in tx. no chapters there, but, you can start one. each chapter needs to maintain a 70% leo-non leo. to start need 7 members. (keeping the 70%) pres has to be leo/ret leo, lt at arms HAS to be working leo.

Not a motorcycle rider but sounds like you have a great organization. We live in the FL panhandle so give us a shout when you are in our neighborhood

Retired LEO's RV Club !!!
Now that sounds dangerous..
I retired in Jan. 2007, (24) years with the US Secret Service. Pulled the plug on Jan. 7th and left DC on the 8th. Currently live in the Fl Panhandle. Best (picture) of Washington DC is in the "rear view mirror".

I'm in. I did 32 years with Miami-Dade PD and 8 more in private security before pulling the plug for good in 2011. I'll be at the national rally in Sept at Myrtle Beach. Jonathan Dickenson State Park is an easy trip now that the Canadians are heading back north. I'll be there april 22-25. Is it just me, or is retiring the smartest thing you ever did?

I supect I could be included in the retired law enforcement group. I put 28 years in Border Patrol, seven different offices, and retired the day I became eligible in 1993. It was a sometimes very challenging and often FRUSTRATING job.
