Processing

As most of you know, and those who don't, I do not consider myself a Photographer. Only a point and shoot "Hack". And worse yet, my processing skills are strictly hunt and peck

I'm still using PS Elements #2, so you can see I don't go into the more sophistacated editing software

This image is another way of showing the different size of the Super Full Moon and the Sun as seen through my 8" telescope. It took me days to put it together

The Moon image alone was a little bit of luck, a merge of 3 individual frames using the photo merge in my PSE.

Ron,
Your photo of the super full moon has a melon stem end on it. Not accusing you of fibbery, but just wondering

Alien stare

This puffer followed me around like a puppy on a recent dive. Cute little guy with eyes like E.T.

Camo at 60 feet

Look for eye and "lips" of this fairly deadly scorpion fish. This is why beginning divers are warned not to grab hold of rocks. I recall years ago putting my hand down to steady myself while shooting a photo and having the rock I was holding on squirm out from under my glove. It was a scorpion fish who fortunately was unable to deploy his hypodermic spines.

Like a rock

This scorpion fish is a little easier to see, but still easy to confuse with a rock when diving.

Mellow Yellow

Have to to love this little reticulated moray eel with his yellow nostrils. Quite the fashionable eel in La Paz, Mexico.

In the pink

Another reticulated moray eel blends right in at his home in the pink rocks, La Paz, Mexico.

Coronet player

This coronet fish peeled off from a school of his buddies to see what I was doing. He followed me for several minutes.

Teething

This sea lion pup tried teething on my glove. He later came up behind me and snatched a bright colored whistle on a long leash attached to my BC. He swam a few feet away and started playing with his new toy. When I swim toward the pup his mom or dad (about 400 lbs of sea lion) blocked my approach.

It rarely happens, but now and then I hear of a diver drowned by a sea lion after the diver attempted to grab or hurt a pup. The yellow tag in the background is on mom who watched my every move, but let the pup play with me for several minutes.

I am using a scanner to download my slides and prints to digital - it is going to be a long process. Maybe it will be completed as soon as I can start RVing fulltime.
