I have this one
https://www.amazon.com/Holy-Stone-Qu...kle_mcd_asin_0
Lasts a good 20-25mins. Batteries are kind of expensive. I have three total, and when ordering the two extra batteries it cost about $100 with the extra charger.
It has GPS so you can set waypoints, follow, brushless, ect ect.. I have had it since december last year and it's still working great! Good in light wind too.

That looks like a nice one but is above my $200 limit. Thanks anyway!

Drone
I am thinking of the Autel.... around $800 because it has the collision avoidance which would make it worth it for me. Spending $400 on one without it so I can crash it into a tree or wire would really upset me. Take a look at "Traveling with Robert" on Youtube because he uses one (unknown brand) on his travels. I am quite tempted to get one.

OK, I'm tired of researching! Today I ordered the Beast SG906 PRO drone. Hope it lives up to it's specs!

Please return to tell us how the experience turns out. I have a Mavic Mini, which I like, but was going to suggest the Holly Stone FPV model mentioned above because it was within 10% of your budget.

They have to ship these things direct from China and the delivery time is 10-20 business days!
I got an $18 discount by using the Honey coupon program!

I read the link you provided and in comparison to what I purchased three years ago for the same price you are getting about three times the drone.
The delivery time from Bangood is an estimation at best I have found from the things I have ordered from them. Delivery will happen Just may be longer than expected.
I think you will find this a great learning tool and a good drone.
Be careful of the range as it is affected by trees and buildings severely.
Waiting for your opinion once you have it.

Hi guys! Yup, I'll count myself lucky to have it inside of a month! All the reviews I read on it were good (well, almost all). The main negative is the long charge time on the batteries, but I can live with that. I'll be in touch.
Joe

Drone
I bought the newest DJI drone, the magic air 2. Certainly beyond the price range you mentioned, but others viewing this thread may benefit. This drone is truly awesome .
Video at 4k, or at 1080 and 120 fps
Stills at 48 mp.
Crash sensors front, back and bottom.
30 min flight time
Return to home with programmable return altitude.
Improved drone to remote control communications for advertised range of 8k.
Helps a lot in noisy environments.
On board video editing software.
Here's a link to a video I took and edited with DJI software. Sells for $899.

I happen to be. Licensed commercial drone pilot with lots of flight time. I would definitely stay with DJI. You’ll have lots of support and their updated software will keep you out of trouble with the quickly changing FAA regulations.
Happy Flying.

Same here and highly agree....
—
If it looks, walks and talks like a duck - it’s probably a duck.....

OP,
Make sure you register yourself and your drone with the FAA. If it weighs more than 249 grams, registration is required by law.
Make sure you download apps like B4Ufly and UAV Forecast to ensure you are flying in approved airspace. There are many NFZ’s that can get your drone confiscated and land you in jail and/or hefty fines...
