We just postponed a trip to Moab and Arches NP due to a family situation we had to take care of first. We are tentatively planning on going the last week of April. We test drove a Razor this weekend, loved it! Since we traded the Wrangler for a Liberty for a smoother ride, 4X4 is just not the same. Sigh.

Looks like you are in Lewisville? My in-laws are just E of you in Carrollton, not far from Vista Ridge Mall. We once lived in Highlands Village, too. It really is a small world.

Holler when you get to Moab. We have never been there, looking forward to it. Travel safe!

Bruce

Yeah Bruce, I'm just across 35 from Highland Village. A Jeeping buddy of mine has a Razor & loves it too, we have a Ranger to put around on some property we have in the country.

Another Jeeper here.

We are not able to go to EJS this year, many from our local Jeep club are going. We went two weeks ago as I needed my Moab "fix" for a few months.

I'm making a quick trip out this year during EJS. I'm with a group (Jeepers Jamboree, Inc) thats doing a trail lunch for the Nitto Tire group. I'll be back home on the 1st and then head back that way on the 6th of April for a 3 week stay. Love Moab!

I have been to Moab at least once a year since 1987, only missed one Safari since
88 or 89 I think and I was headed out that way when I had a medical problem.
Next year is the 50th anniversary, it should be a hoot, so book your room/site early.

My wife and I are going to try to get down for next year's EJS with our Jeep club. It has been 26 years since I went during an annual EJS even though we generally go to Moab 3-4 times a year, just not over EJS.

Mike, you can get a lot more wheeling done without the insanity of Jeep Safari.
In the fall we usually go to Kanab or Green River and explore other parts of the state, there are some really beautiful things to see out there. We like to find Indian art & ruins along with cool canyons & grand vistas. Mike

True, when we went two weeks ago we didn't see another soul on any of the trails we ran and town was nice and quiet. We could walk right in to any restaurant we wanted. It is like that in October when we go down as well, however, this year we will be going to St. George over Halloween as my wife and I just joined the FMCA 4 Wheelers this past year and they have a rally over Halloween which is one of the times we generally go to Moab.

I would just like to hit the EJS again after all these years and run the trails with friends and check out off the hoopla. I am not looking forward to the crowds though.

Mike.

We were there in late September last year and had "company" on the trails, but nothing disruptive to our having a great time.
