Refrigerator Magnets

We have the biggest Samsung french door rerfreigerator that we could get a Lowes and it's almost covered with magnets that we have collected during our travels. Didn't matter that they were fancy magnets, I like to get ones from stores, phamacies or Veternarians we have visited on the road. (whatever)

Does anyone else out there have this passion or maybe it's a bad habbit that turns a nice kitchen appliance into a tacky billboard.

Whatever it is I can't get enough magnets. I prefer the flat skinny ones over commercial models which are about the size of a business card.

My best collection is from the Springfield (MA) RV Show in the spring. I have almost a dozen of these each differnet in color over the years begining in 1997.

I hadn't given it much thought as a hobby, but now that you mention it, we have collected quite a few from states that we have been to. Also we have some that was given to us from friends and family from various places and other advertisements.

Come to think of it, maybe we will have to get a bigger refrigerator

Hee! Hee! DW collects them, and then came the stainless steel doors, and stainless stove tops, and stainless vents. It has probably saved me 50 pounds of magnets. She leaves them at the stick house. Hee! Hee!

No, I'm not going to get a flat piece of stick on steel!!!!!

This reminds me of a cartoon I saw one time and had a copy of it posted at our shop.
Picture a repairman in front of a refrigerator covered with magnets. Caption reads: "Ma'am, the fan motor is bad, I think it is from too many magnets"!
