I like visiting a thrift store occasionally, especially if I need something that I have at home and I dont want to spend a lot of money on a duplicate item. Case in point, I found myself in need of a sport coat in central Indiana. Not only did I not want to spend the $$ on a good one, or buy a cheap one, but there were no men’s stores for a hundred miles. Then I thought of Goodwill and all the suits and sport coats Ive donated to them. So off I went to a local Goodwill, 15 miles away, found four decent coats in my size (46L which is not all that common) and bought a nice medium weight tweed with leather elbow patches for $6. It was perfect - presentable but also casual enough. Also found a very nice L.L. Bean shirt for $2. Just never know what you might find.
