I want to replace my air bags, especially on the form, but I can't find a part number except with Spartan so I can't shop. No one can cross the Spartan numbers (0492-DD1 AIR SPRING-14K, front and 1919-DD4-001 AIR SPRG-RR SUSP 240AR, rear). Does anyone have any idea how I can get some one else's numbers (firestone, Goodyear etc).

Go to the Files above and do a search on Firestone. You will find the Firestone Air Spring Replacement Guide which should help you identify your air bags.

Best way is to measure what you currently have (front and rear may be different) and look in the guide.

For my MH, most probable W01-358-9376 or W01 358 9651 . Other possibilities W01-358-6905, W01-358-8897

The ones on the link do not seem to be correct for my Tradition. The WO1-358-8760 (front) use a 1T19F-3 bellows. The bellows on my front air springs is 1T15M-0 . Is yours must an IFS front axle? Checking further on the back WO1-358-9966.

What chassis? Spartan MM, K2, K3???? Reyco-Granning front end, IFS or solid axle? This has been discussed previously for the MM chassis. You'll find the threads using the google search feature at page top.

Well, I finally have the correct cross air spring P/N number for the front anyway. For the Spartan 0492-DD1: Firestone WO13588961, Goodyear 1R12-555, and Reyco 23377-01.

I don't think those are right. I just did my bags and spartan told.me the exact same part number. I went through three tries to get it right.

You want a 9333 bag. Look here

I got the part numbers by buying one of the 0492-DD1 (PN from Spartan using my VIN etc.) air springs. The PN on these on this one is Reyco 23377-01. That is the number I crossed form. I note that all the dimensions are the same for the 8961 and the 9333 except for the height of the bottom plate which is 3.00 fro the 9333 and 2.l8 for the 8961. I bought one to make sure the part was correct. I got it form RVChassisParts.com. Also, note in your message the PN Reyco23377-01 is also listed.

Well that is really interesting! So I guess my air down ride height is slightly higher! I don't mind that by thanks for clarifying. It's interesting how these work as far as part numbers and whatnot. Measuring them seems to be the only way to know you are getting the correct part.

Curious was the Reyco a plastic or metal baseplate? Did they fit on there without modification to clear the bottom mounting plate bolts? Post some pics if you can.

The bottom plate is plastic. I have not installed them yet. I need to buy another one and when I get to that I will pub some pics. Thanks to all for the input.

Yes I believe that to be true. The Reyco front suspension does have metal baseplates on the coach, the question I had was if the baseplates on the springs themselves were plastic on his part number. My original springs had metal bases sitting on metal plate on coach. The new ones I ordered, 9333, had plastic bases I modified slightly to clear the bolts. Just curious if the part number he found is actually a better fit.

I got the other one form RV Chassis Parts,. I just bought another on with the same Spartan PN 0492-DD1 to be safe. Got a couple of 1/8 steel plates and will make my own support plates. Simple job of cutting the circle and drilling two hole. Still haven't decided whether to do myself or have it done. My ex-son-in-law has a shop that does a lot of semi-trailer work so I may consult with him and see what he thinks it will cost. Might go that way. I will keep posting as things develop. Thanks to everyone for all the help and suggestions.
