2001 Newmar Mountain Aire DP4095 Spring Air Bag
For my 2001 Newmar Mountain Aire DP4095 I’m looking for new front spring air bags to replace the old worn out ones.
Does anybody have recommendations for parts to order? My Newmar MADP4095 is riding on a Spartan chassis.
I’m looking for the appropriate parts number and contact information for ordering. However, I would prefer aftermarket ones but don’t know if aftermarket’s are available at all.
Any help is highly appreciated.

I have a 2003 Newmar Dutch Star and got my bags from these guys. https://spartanrvchassis.com/owners/parts/ Get a hold of them and they'll help you. I have the part# they gave me for the front and rear bags in the shop but don't know if they are the same as yours. If you need them let me know. Rears were $272 US each. Fronts were more, think I have the price in the shop.

From reading this forum for many years, the Spartan factory has the best deal on air springs available.
I've read threads where someone installed off-brand air springs and were not happy with them.

The air bag will have all the part numbers on her, fairly easy to change take a picture of you linkage for replacement, any truck parts supplier will have the parts. It's a manufactures frame. If you don't know the chassis Mfg. look on the Axle, it will have the numbers on a tag usually midpoint of axle, Also when you buy from Newmar and places like Spartan or any Steeler ship, you will pay a lot more. as an example on my 05 Dutch star the ignition switch from Newmar is 85.00, Amazon 45.00, 17.00 at a parts store. 62-75 gmc headlite switch, 2005 head light 500.00 from Newmar 140.00 from Rock Auto the are from a 2000-2002 Lincoln sport. all lights have part numbers on them. Spartan rv will give you the part numbers
Just did this a couple weeks ago
Their price per bag was a lot more
Check Stengel Bros. they are good
The number you see on the rubber part is the number for the rubber bag only you need to get the assem part number
There are other suppliers as well
Only one supplier located in calf had stock on my drive axle bag
Do a search your computer is your best friend

Yes I replaced my own. I dumped the air, raised the rear with the jacks, put safety stands in appropriate places and started to unbolt the bags and remove the air lines. Two bolts will have to be accessed through the wheel wells, a little challenging alone, but I got them. Make sure to remove the leveling valve rod and don't mess with the valve. I messed with the valve and had to replace it also (Amazon). My new bags had a plastic mount instead of the original aluminum mount. Just found out a few weeks back that the plastic mount bags need a 10" disc of ~1/4" plate underneath for support. I had 1/4" aluminum so I cut 2 base plates out of that just this week. Will need to unbolt the bags this spring and insert plates. Only thing that was a challenge was to get my 63 year old fat ass under there. All in all it was not bad. Pictures are just for reference. I like to take pics before I start so I can look back and see how it was, if I forget. Good for reference when you put something together on the bench before installing. Fitting, bracket angles etc. PS. installing a new leveling valve may be a good thing. If yours is original, it's only a matter of time. I have the Amazon part# somewhere if you need it.

Here's a pic of the 10" disc. Still needs to be finished and painted.

There should be a sticker on one end-plate of the air spring with make, model numbers. Downside spring must be removed to view sticker.

I can't vouch for this valve as I did not install it. I have it as a spare. I had to go buy one at a local shop because I could not wait for it. The one from the local shop was not plug and play so I had to move some lines. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00IVQNER6?...fed_asin_title
