No I'm not getting a new MH. I'll let Cruzer do that and report on it.

This past weekend I changed my rear axle lube and lubed the chassis. Am I the only one who does this on his diesel pusher? A couple of my buddies think that I'm nuts for doing it myself.

However, I know that it is done correctly, and with the products that I want to use (Amsoil in engine, rear axle, chassis lube, front bearings, and any other location that I can find except trans).

It was hot work with the feels like temperature at 105, but I'm pleased to have the work done.

Nah, we must both be nuts then. I do all my own service too. And enjoy it! (See, that proves I'm nuts ). There's more to servicing a vehicle than just changeing some fluids and filters and slapping some ghrease around. This is the time to give everything the critical eye. Having it done by a flat rate service tech just won't give you the attention to detail that you will give it yourself. This is the time to look for loose screws (on the coach, not the driver) and stop little things that will turn into big things later on.

I'll join the nutty crowd. I do all my own routine maintenance. The only reason I take the coach to the dealer is because it is under warranty. You know what happens if something breaks and I try to fix it,,,,and don't. The dealer says I broke it in the first place. I enjoy having the detail knowledge about everything that has to do with the coach. In the past, this knowledge has been very handy.
