American Tradition - Battery/Inverter

Hello Again,

This here is my 2nd post on the forum. New owner, new member. My American Tradition has the Magnum inverter light illuminating but nothing shows for the battery (charging?) or anything lighting up on the 50 amp Intellitec. Please see the pictures. I've tried the soft reset and also the hard reset of the breaker on the main box. Thankfully, my box is easily accessible in the storage bay above the batteries.

Question, is there a sequence for starting everything. Currently, we turn on the chassis battery switch located on the stairwell, then start the generator then wait for the lights to come on. The inverter seems to work fine as the AC runs as does most of the outlets. We get no battery light, though.

You may have another master battery switch for the house batteries.

That and there should be a battery disconnect switch inside. Most times that on is near the door.

This makes me confused. It appears you have the inverter on which if it’s plugged in you don’t need. Have you tried hitting charge button. The chassis batteries have nothing to do with the inverter. You house battery bank runs you 12 volt stuff including genny. You AC has nothing to do with inverter it runs off of genny and shore power only.
