changing coolant

I have a 350 CAT with the green coolant that requires SCA to be checked/added and would like to change to the extended life coolant. I see a petcock on the radiator and know I need to turn on the heater to flush the system. Are there any other drain points on the engine and wha do I do about the coolant filter?

I would recommend you find a truck or RV shop that has a coolant fluid exchange machine and have them clean, then flush the system, change the filter and then install the new coolant/water mixture.
