Cruise Control not working

Hi all! I am new to this forum. Just picked up at 1993 Gulf Stream Friendship LXE. 38' with 8.3 Cummins in a Spartan Chassis. Has 97000 miles. One of the issues I am having is the cruise control (steering column) does not seem to work. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or suggestions on how best to go about troubleshooting this?

Thanks!!

Corey

I had a similar problem on my MH, 2019 Tiffin open Road, It didn't work on delivery. The problem was in the steering column. It had been assembled wrong and wires were crushed.
Ford and Tiffin blamed the other. In the end Tiffin stood behind their product and paid for the repairs.

A usual cause is corrosion on wire connections. I bought a spray can of plastic-proof contact cleaner and sprayed into the turn signal stalk hole thinking I can't make it worse it isn't working now.
After a few times out the CC began working with one exception. When I use my right turn signal it shuts off the CC. Apparently it's time to use the contact cleaner again.

Thanks. I will check any connections I can see. Once it goes into the steering column (and I assume clockspring) does anyone know which color wires it would be? Or What I am looking for near the motor for connections or components?
