Front air bag replacement
Looking for info as to where to get front air bags and the correct part # for a 2002 spartan with reyco granning IFS 1200 front suspension.

Make sure you read the link Mackwrench added about the possible need for a baseplate. Some of the new bags don't come with one and it is required.

Only on rear axle.....some air spring bases are nylon and according to Spartan, may need a base plate for the air spring base to sit on......, there's been a few here that have broken them, and then there's others that didn't use the support plate and had no issues....

Wasn't there a thread stating that support plate issue had been resolved by the air spring mfgr?

Update on procuring front air bag’s 2002 ifs1200. I called spartan with vin # ,they had the correct bags in stock for $232.00 each plus shipping and tax total $564.75. Part number spa-dd1-0009.

Finished installing front air bags today and it was really not was not to difficult. The most work was getting it securely jacked,blocked and removing the front wheels uploaded some pics
|
