Oil Pressure Sender Cummins 8.3L ISC

Old subject. The oil pressure sender is intermittent. Cummins has made a change. What sender have folks used that doesn't require a software change?

oil pressure sensor

Thanks for the post on the cummins directive. I followed damion s advice and got the amazon sensor https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...0LJC4EKD&psc=1 and it works good.---ben

Where is the sender located? I have a 99 Dutch star.

On ISC engine it's located just above and to the rear of the starter.

However you can take your engine S/N into a free quickserve account and pull up a sensor location diagram for your engine.

Changed my oil pressure sender and fixed my problem
